Okay, I just finished my entry for the contest, now I'm back to work!

I've started painting Winchester and Renewing Harmony's commission, but I have a few questions I'd like you to answer!
Or rather, would you think it's OK if I do the following changes to your commission:

- not a red-checkered towel, but something more neutral and Guild Wars-like? As it is, the towel/blanket is a little too eye-catching, considering both it's colour and detail.
- One, if not both of your pets are feeding themselves/doing something else ~ this will leave your characters free to interact with each-other and do different things with their hands and faces.
- I add some comical details, like Guild Wars related food items, magazines/books and beauty products? Maybe not all of them, but at least a few.

I'll continue working with your commish as soon as you answer those questions.
Thank you!

EDIT: I just did a new sketch, RH on the right side, PW on the left, RH's thinking, smiling to herself, PW's reading while her Ooze grabs the chance to nab some cake. Does this concept sound OK to you? It looks quite nice, 'cus you get the feeling of two different personalities to match their looks, while both look relaxed but not serious.
tell me if you agree with the idea, and then Ill elaborate on that.

This is fine with me, and should probably be fine with PW. What do you mean Neutral to GW, example, please?
Yes, our pets could be feeding themselves as it would free up the chars and it's not just focused on the minis.
Hmm, add the magazines, but not the beauty products... PW and I are guys IRL, yet love your art work and these are our main accounts.

I love your chibis! And would like you to do one of me and a friend hanging out (or doing something heroic) with minis. The minis we would like are a white tiger and a phoenix (in reds and oranges, not the one ingame). We would like blue eyes please. If the background could be somewhere relaxing like a valley that would be awesome.

Let me know if you need anything

noted! ^.^ will not add the overly femme stuff then
As for a GW-neutral quilt I was thinking something along the lines of a normal brown+green+corn yellow woven blanket, or just something that looks like it's not factory-cotton with machine-print :/ :P If you have any ideas, please share! ^^
If you really want the towel/blanket to be the nostalgic red-checkered version, I could tone down the colours and blur out the squares a bit so it doesn't scream for attention so much XD I still think something that looks a bit more "medieval" would look best.

The tiger with the blonde and the phoenix with the other one. Also, my friend just asked if maybe we can have our storm bows laying next to us? Thanks a bunch!

I'll see if I can add them, but it might look weird :/ ...
your pets are already quite extravagant! ^^'

You won't have to pay anything extra for the storm bows, if I can add them successfully, but I might charge a little extra for the two pets. You should expect something between 30 (base price for 2 chibi humans) and 40k, is this OK with you?

That sounds good. If you can't get the bows to work, that's fine. Whatever you think would be better lol

Sounds great, Tzu. Like I stated, you are the artist and I can't even draw a stick figure, so you'd know best.

Hey Tzu, you ever think of drawing your own comic? You would be FANTASTIC at it!

actually, yeah, I have... this makes me think you've talked to some of my IRL friends/guildies for some reason >.>'
They're bugging me about it quite often. One of them's got this long-running idea which will "get me famous" and "rich" (lol!). I wouldn't do it for money, but it could be fun to draw a GW comic some day, more serious and realistic than the other ones out there. Thing is, I've drawn various types of comics throughout my life, most of which I haven't posted on the net of course, but I never seem to be able to finish them. One of my guildies suggested I either make a really short one, with a simple concept, or that I make an "endless" one, which doesnt need a definite ending.
I think the last one is the most tempting, and the one I'm most likely to have the inspiration to work on continuously.
I also have a looot of stories to tell. I could easily combine old stories from old comics with new stories I've been thinking about lately. Could turn out to be an interesting read in the end.

If there's some interest for it, outside my guild and IRL friends, I might actually do it :P

EDIT: forgot to mention, it doesn't have to be GW, really. I have 3-4 world concepts in my old sketch books already, from a book I wrote when I was 13 (actually re-reading it right now, for fun :P) and from various RPG games Ive made/helped out making throughout high school and college.

I just had to practice drawing faces for a bit, took me 4 hours max. I'll get straight back to commissions of course, and I'll make use of what I learned! ^^
So, all the better for you people waiting for me to finish yours!

Don't worry about payment Verene, of course, it's just a freebie! ^^ I hope you like it!

Well I always wanted to make my own, but I lack the drawing skills, and being a perfectionist, I can't let mediocre art go through as my work XD

So Instead I push my dreams onto others instead of trying to do it myself LOL.

ahh, yes, your character is strangely enchanting to me
Also, drawing tanned skin is so much more fun than white XD
I realize I might've missed the eye-colour by a mile or two, but I hope you don't mind.. >.>'

Her eyes are normally more of a greyish-purple color, but the yellow looks cool - it makes the entire thing look very intense
